UN Torture Prevention Body Urged to Visit Prisons

Global Campaign for Rwandans' Human Rights is pleased that the UN torture prevention body has announced that it will visit Rwanda.

We hope that the body will be able to investigate information we exposed on 27th June 2017 about practices of torture in prisons.

We urge the Rwandan government to give them unrestricted access to all prisons and detention centers that they will wish to visit.
